After doing graduation in biochemistry, one can go for Masters or post-graduation in the same or related fields such as biotechnology, life sciences, etc. Once you have done your post-graduation, you can apply for CSIR-JRF-NET or GATE and after clearing these exams you are eligible for Ph.D. and then you can fill for the post of PhD in different universities. You can try to get over CSIR NET or any state NET and become a university or college professor; or you can go for research using the same exam.
You can also go for a career in biotechnology, bioinformatics, biomedical sciences or even nano-technology. You can try Indian Forest Service also, if you are within the age limit.
