Yes, Kerala University provides relaxation of the grade point requirements for admission to M.Tech programme. Check out the below section to know the eligibility requirements for different reserved categories:
SC/ST:
- CGPA of 2.0 or above in a 4-point scale
- 3.5 or above in a 7-point scale
- 5.0 or above in a 10-point scale

For nonsponsored seats at Kerala University, students are inducted based on their GATE results. Those who have not qualified GATE can appear for the university's in-house entrance test. However, the preference is given to GATE students.
For sponsored seats, students are evaluated based on aggregate marks at Bachelor level, work experience, and performance in interviews conducted by the Department Council. The weight distribution is as follows:
