RGPV Bhopal University is a well-know goverment university which is recognised by the UGC and is accredited with an 'A' grade by the NAAC. Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya Bhopal is a multi-campus affiliating, research university that is also a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). There are 5 teaching institutions, 200 affiliated Engineering colleges, 95+ Pharmacy colleges, 90+ MCA colleges, and 4 Architecture colleges imparting various courses.

Admission to the BPharma programme at RGPV Bhopal is based on merit, not direct admissions. The selection process for BPharma at RGPV Bhopal is entirely based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and not through any separate entrance exam conducted by the university.
