Candidates first need to fill out the application form. Aspirants who have qualified CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ SNAP and completed Class 12 can apply for SUAS admission. The university shortlisted candidates for BTech and MBA based on entrance exam score. For other courses, merit in the last qualifying exam is considered for SUAS admission. The university conducts selection rounds like group discussion and personal interview for final admission. 

The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Bhopal accepts CCMN scores, followed by the CCMN Counselling process for admission to the MSc in Mathematics course.
