Mop up round revised dates for MP NEET 2025 counselling have been announced. Registration for mop up round had to be done from October 7 till October 22, 2025. Merit list for mop up round will be released on October 25, 2025 as per the revised schedule. Choices for mop up round can be declared from October 25 till October 27, 2025. Seat allotment result will be uploaded at the official website, dme.mponline.gov.in on October 29, 2025.

Counselling is held by the Department of Medical Education (DME), Madhya Pradesh. It must be noted only candidates who qualify NEET 2025 with the minimum cut off will be eligible to participate in the seat allotment process. DME, MP will allot seats based on merit position, choice filled, availability of seats, reservation factors etc. DME holds counselling for allotment of 85% state quota seats. A total of 37 government and private colleges will be participating in the counselling.

MP NEET 2025 Counselling: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who wish to participate in the counselling of MP NEET 2025 need to fulfil the following eligibility requirement, set by DME:

Age: Applicant must be at least 17 years old on the date mentioned by the exam conducting body. There is no upper age of the applicants.

Qualification: Applicant must have passed Class 12 or equivalent with Physics, Biology, Chemistry and English as core subjects.

Domicile: Applicant must be domiciled in the state of Madhya Pradesh. Those who have completed their formal education from the state, but are not domiciled in MP, can also apply for MP NEET counselling.

Applicant must be at least 17 years old on the date mentioned by the exam conducting body. There is no upper age limit of the applicants. Another eligibility criteria is candidates should have domiciled in the state or he/she must have completed formal education from any of the state boards.

MP NEET 2025 Counselling Process

Profile Creation:

Candidates have to create profile on the official website before registration. Candidates will have to provide details such as roll number, secret key, and captcha, contact number, bank details to create profile. 

Registration:

Post the announcement of NEET result 2025, all those who have qualified for the examination and wish to participate in the counselling will have to register on the official website of DME. They must note that it is mandatory to register online to fill the application form for the counselling of MP NEET 2025.

Seat matrix and merit list:

DME releases seat matrix before the counselling process starts. After seat matrix, MP NEET state merit list is released. 

Choice Filling and locking:

Candidates who are shortlisted in the merit list can declare choices online. Candidates can declare choice of college and course in the given deadline. Choices ahve to be locked as well.

Seat allotment list:

Based on the merit position of the candidate and the choices filled by them, DME will prepare the result for the counselling of MP NEET 2025. The result for MP NEET counselling 2024 is better known as the seat allotment list. DME will release a separate seat allotment list for every round of MP NEET 2025 counselling.

Document verification and confirmation of admission:

Candidates who have been allocated a seat and want to continue with it will be required to report to the respective institute for document verification. They need to carry original certificates, with two attested copies, to the allocated institute for verification. They will also need to deposit the tuition fee for the current year to confirm admission.

The fee structure for medical/dental is revised every year. Annual fees for government medical/dental colleges is subsidised and is, therefore, five to ten times less than that for private medical colleges.
