Hi Poojashree! Eligibility for M.Pharma in Madras Medical College Chennai is B.Pharma with 50% aggregate percentage. Admission is based on marks in entrance scaled down to a minimum of 90 and experience weightage up to 10 marks in total otherwise marks in the qualifying examination + marks in the entrance followed by counselling.

Madras Medical College has a higher cut off, but if you can make it through, it will be the better option. It has been ranked higher and also has lower fees. It is ranked 15th among the top Medical colleges of India for the year 2018, whereas the Bangalore Medical College is ranked 17th.

It's a very good medical college in private sector. In fact it was the best private medical college in North India and it has maintained its reputation somewhat. Campus is like living in a resort surrounded with natural beauty.

Established in 1853, Madras Medical College is the third the oldest medical college in the country after Ecole de Medicine de Pondicherry and Calcutta Medical College. The red brick building has been classified as a Grade A Heritage Building. Former CM Karunanidhi made the foundation for a new campus. The new campus was built on what was previously a prison campus.
