Amrita School of Engineering in Coimbatore is part of the Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham and gives Engineering and Doctorate courses to students. The flagship programmes include BTech, MTech, and PhD. Amrita Coimbatore admission is conducted on the basis of the Amrita Entrance Examination – Engineering (AEEE). For the M.Tech and PhD admissions, students have to appear for the GATE test. Hence, there is no such provision for direct admission as of now. For further information, students may visit the official website.

Amrita Coimbatore: More varied placements, average BTech package is ~₹9.08 LPA.
Which to pick?
Pick Thapar if you want stronger core engineering exposure + good campus reputation.
Pick Amrita if you want a balance of good placements + a possibly lower course cost + slightly broader peer network.

The mode of SRM University Chennai application is online. There are few simple steps of application given below:
- Visit the SRM IST Kattankulathur official site.
- Click on 'Apply Now' and proceed with the registeration.
- Fill the form & upload the docs.
- Pay the fee (INR 1,200 - application) & submit.

The SRMIST Chennai BCA admission process takes place online. The minimum marks required to fulfill the eligibility criteria is about 50% in Class 12. If you go to the official website of the college, you can easily find the "Admission" tab and proceeed to apply. Further, log in with the credentials that you have generated. Fill out the form.
