Yes, you can take the improvement exam next year for the HSC board even if you have failed in one subject during the July improvement but passed the main boards in February. Students are permitted by the Maharashtra Board to take the improvement exams for improving their marks. But because you have failed in one subject, you would also have to enroll for the supplementary exam of that particular subject. Make sure you confirm the registration dates and process with your school or on the Maharashtra Board website to act accordingly.

If you are not able to appear your 12th board exam due to your health issue you then you should first inform your school about your health condition. Explain your condition to them with the help of your parents. Obtain a medical certificate by a certified doctor as a proof of your health condition. Reach out to the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) with the help of school.

Or may be you can prepare for re-exam which is held in july. That will be the best option if you miss the board exam.

Yes, you can appear in 2025 again for the same board and same  subject. If one passed 12th in 2023 from Maharashtra state board but scored less than 50 percent can appear in 2025 from same board and same subject and it is considered as improvement. Students who got less marks will write exams again in next year to get better score and board provides the facility for students to increase score by appearing exams again in next year.

Hi,

If you're short by just 1 mark to meet the NEET eligibility criteria, it's understandable that you're hoping for grace marks. However, the eligibility criteria for NEET are set by the National Testing Agency (NTA), and they strictly follow the requirements laid out by the Maharashtra State Board.

Grace marks are typically awarded by the Maharashtra Board for specific reasons, such as for certain types of errors or discrepancies during exams, but they are generally not provided to meet eligibility criteria for competitive exams like NEET.

Best of luck!
