The total number of companies that have been a part of MIT Manipal placements over the past three years indicates a fluctuating trend. Likewise, the number of recruiters for MCA courses has also been fluctuating. On the other hand, the number of recruiters for BTech courses has improved between 2021 and 2023. The placements are going on for the academic year 2022-2023. As per the latest report, the University recorded 92.9% placements for its Faculty of Technology batch 2023 so far. Earlier, the University recorded 75.3% placements during the 2022 placement drive. Going back to 2021 placements, the University recorded 74.6% placements for its Faculty of Technology batch 2021. Candidates are advised to leave their personal belongings with their accompanying parents/guardians to the MET exam centre. However, if the candidate is alone, they can request the authorities at the exam centre to keep their belongings during the entrance examination. But the authorities will not be held responsible for any loss of belongings. Therefore, the candidates are advised to not bring any expensive belongings to the MET exam centres.

Candidates will be able to check the details regarding their allotted MET exam centre through the admit card. Information regarding the allotted centre address, exam date, timings and more will be made available on the MET admit card. Candidates will be advised to check the details regarding their allotted exam centre carefully and to visit the venue once before the examination so that they are familiar with the area. The MET admit card has to be produced at the exam centre.

Candidates were able to check the list of MET 2023 exam cities online at manipal.edu. The candidates were able to select their choice of exam city from the list while filling out the MET 2023 application form. Based on the preferences and seat availability, the allotment of MET 2023 exam centres was done. However, it was to be noted that due to circumstances, the candidates had the possibility to not be allotted a centre in their first preference.

Manipal University conducts counselling for admission to various courses including B.Tech, B.Pharm, PharmD, UG Allied health, M.Sc. Life Sciences Programs, M.Pharm / PharmD Post Baccalaureate Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) Programs.
The counselling is conducted in various rounds depending upon the availability of seats. The first round is conducted offline (in person) and further rounds will be organized through online mode.
