For MET admissions, the Indian candidates will have to apply and attempt the entrance examination. General category admissions will be done on the basis of ranks obtained in the Manipal Entrance Test (MET). During the counselling process, the candidates will be allotted as per their MET rank, preference and seat availability. However, Foreign/NRI category admissions are done on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination.

No. The candidates will not require any login credentials to access the MET mock test. Irrespective of their application status, the candidates will be able to check and attempt the mock test of MET. The official MET mock test link is available online at manipal.edu. However, the system specifications as mentioned by the authorities have to be MET for the mock test to run smoothly.

Yes, candidates will be allowed to skip questions in MET mock test. However, the candidates will not be allowed to revisit to the section. While attempting the MET mock test, the section can be visited only once. The mock test will have the sections in a fixed manner. There is no provision for the candidates to select/go to a specific section as per their preference.

MET mock test pattern is similar to the entrance examination. The total duration of the mock test is 2 hours and the candidates will have to answer 60 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) and Numerical Answer Type NAT Questions. No extra time will be provided to the candidates in the mock test. For every correct answer, 4 marks will be allotted. There is no negative marking in Numerical Answer Type Questions, however, for Multiple Choice Questions, 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.

No, candidates do not need to book any slots for MET mock test. The link to access the MET mock test will be available online at manipal.edu. The candidates will be able to access and attempt the mock test as per their availability. No login credentials will be required to access the mock test. Preparing with mock tests are considered a good method since it allows the candidates to understand the environment of the test.

The duration of the MET mock test has been announced. Candidates will be allotted 60 minutes to complete the mock test. A total of 18 questions have to be answered within the allotted duration. Once the time is over, the paper will be automatically submitted and no answers can be marked or submitted. Candidates will have to prepare themselves and boost their time management skills to complete the examination within the allotted duration.

No, the candidates will not need to be registered to access the MET mock test. The authorities have made the MET mock test available online at manipal.edu for all engineering aspirants, irrespective of their application status with Manipal. To access the mock test of MET, the candidates will have to visit the official website and click on the link. No log in credentials are required.
