It is a very nice to see that you have already set your aim for getting admission in Manipal Institute. This institute has a very good academic reputation and also is known to have good and learned faculty as staff. Computer and communication engineering course that you are talking about is one of the best courses at the institute and I feel that without any hesitation you should aim for getting admission in this course. Best wishes to you.

Hello Sanskriti Sharma,
Placements in aeronautical engineering branch in best of the times are also not very good. In a larger perspective, this ultimately depends on the industrial and economic climate of the countries. Presently in India, the core jobs of Aeronautical Engineering graduates are perhaps available only in ISTO or DRDO or to some extent with the armed forces. The aerospace industry in India has not yet developed to an extent where it can absorb all those who are passing out from this branch. The net result is that the graduates of this branch are doing MBA or get some government job based on graduation or go abroad for do

Basic qualifications required by you are - basics of coding in Java, c+, python or any language. Since mechatronics is a new branch combining mechanical and electronics, you should be familiar with the basics of mechanics and electronics taught in 11th and 12th grade. Apart from that whichever branch you choose, to pursue a great career you need to be passionate enough.

Manipal Institute of Technology does not offer Diploma in aerospace engineering but you may do it from a different college and then join Manipal as a lateral entry student for B.Tech in aeronautical engineering.
