Aeronautical is a good branch. The teachers are pretty knowledgeable and the labs have all required machines. The placements are not that good as this is still an emerging branch. Most students go for masters.

You might get a seat in aeronautical if not many students go for it. 85 around is the borderline marks. You need 100 to get a confirmed seat. Try giving a retest if you still can.

The faculty ane academic division at MIT is really good. They pay attention to every student in the class and make sure everyone understands the concepts properly. Civil engineering is a good branch. The professors here are very good. We have proper equipment for surveying and material testing and everything. Companies like LnT, Tata steel, Mahindra and Mahondra etc come for placements.
