It all depends on the rank. Once your son gets the rank it Would be more easy to tell. But as per what I remember in my time, for score like 93, people were getting biotech, print and media and I am not sure but chemical too. I would be able to tell you exactly once the ranks are out.

Aeronautical is a good branch. The teachers are pretty knowledgeable and the labs have all required machines. The placements are not that good as this is still an emerging branch. Most students go for masters.

You might get a seat in aeronautical if not many students go for it. 85 around is the borderline marks. You need 100 to get a confirmed seat. Try giving a retest if you still can.

The faculty ane academic division at MIT is really good. They pay attention to every student in the class and make sure everyone understands the concepts properly. They use smart teaching methods to make things easier. Computer science cutoff goes aroung 135-140. I don't think you'll get that. Aeronautical also I'm not sure. To be very safe, you need atleast 100.

No. MUOET ranks are based only on the Manipal Entrance Exam. 12th marks are not considered.

Civil engineering is a good branch. The professors here are very good. We have proper equipment for surveying and material testing and everything. Companies like LnT, Tata steel, Mahindra and Mahondra etc come for placements.

Score more than 100 or 110 to be very sure to get a confirmed seat for B.Tech Aeronautical.

To get Btech Computer Science you'll have to score around 140 out of 200.
