You don't need to go to any specific book for the exam. Just brush up your Diploma concepts. The exam consists of basic mathematics, physics, chemistry and English questions. You'll find a list of topics that they ask from on the admissions page in the manipal.edu website.

Hello Pavan,
I am sure by now you would be studying in some college already. As per information available, if you can score about 50% in entrance exam then you have a reasonable chance of getting admission.

Considering how few colleges in India offer aeronautical engineering, Manipal is indeed one of the good colleges to offer it. We have really good facilities and the faculty is also very helpful. You get to have a lot of theoretical as well and experimental experience while studying here.

There are not many aeronautical companies that recruit undergraduate students since that level of knowledge is not enough. A few core companies that do come for college recruitment are Quest Global, Textron aviation, Bell helicopters, Honeywell, Altair, Triveni Aerospace.

Hi Avijeet,
Your question is incomplete, as you haven't mentioned about the stream of engineering for the placement comparison. It is quite an important factor as the Institute's placement varies according them. However, if BE in Computer Science & Engineering is considered, the comparison can be like
BITS>Manipal University>VIT>UPES>SRM>KIIT.
