Certificate Courses at National Academy of Media and Events do not have a cutoff system. Admission is on a first-come, first-served basis and is open to everyone.

The National Academy of Media and Events (NAME) in Kolkata offers three streams of 13 Diploma and certificate programs. In addition, the institute organizes training, workshops, and placements. Everyone is welcome, and admission is on a first-come, first-served basis. Applicants must justify their desire to study event management in order to be admitted to the academy. In order to be admitted to certain courses offered by the National Academy of Media and Events, applicants must also pass an aptitude test administered by NAME, followed by a personal interview. The academy is currently accepting applications for event management courses.

There is no cutoff system for Certificate Courses at National Academy of Media and Events. Admission is based on a first-come-first-serve basis and is open to all.

Four specializations are offered by the institute as full-time and part-time Diploma programs. All Diploma programs, with the exception of acting for screen and stage specialization, require a personal interview after the NAME aptitude test.

Those interested in the Acting for Screen and Stage specialisation only need to show up for the interview phase. Diploma programs last anywhere from six months to a year. Applicants may apply for Diploma courses if they have completed their Class 12 coursework.

Pay is based on performance and hard work; all students are welcome; there are no packages; the cost is the same for everyone; photographers work as independent contractors and never hold corporate jobs; all that is needed is a passion and love for photography; learning and observation are the keys to improving one's photographic skills.

Ninety percent of the pupils found jobs. Monthly salary offered is a maximum of 25,000. Numerous companies, including Red Carpet, Red Launcher, The Party People, Renesa Events, and numerous others, were available for placement. The lowest monthly salary was 15,000. The course was well received by the students.

The NAME Kolkata official website makes no mention of a placements cell. It does, however, offer its students placement opportunities.

Employers such as Event Capital, Wizcraft, Reliance Entertainment, Showhouse, and Inner Circle Advertising are among the leading companies that have employed graduates of this school over time. 

The salary offered to students ranges from Rs 15,000 to Rs 25,000 per month, according to verified student reviews on Shiksha.

 Although the academy states that all of its students are placed 100% of the time, verified student reviews on Shiksha indicate that only about 80–90% of students are placed in each batch.
