The ideal options after Engineering are-
M.E or M.TECH
M.SC or MBA in respective specialization
You should stick by your domain in order to have an added advantage in the competitive market. At the same time, it is very important that you opt for or look at doing something that you are good at and would enjoy keeping in mind your personality, aptitude, ability, strengths and career goals.
If at all, you want to switch over, go ahead and pursue a career in mass communication.
After completing their course in mass communication one can work as a copywriter, advertising professional, journalist, news anchor and a PR Officer and so on.

Hrutu, in XIIth you can take up any stream because Mass communication, film making courses are graduation courses in the college. However if you are certain to opt for Mass communication / film making / journalism then you must choose History as one of the subjects and English or Hindi as other main subject. You need to stress upon for enhancing your communicative ability right form now onwards.
