As you are interested to clear MAT examination, first of all keep dedication and boldness mindset. Learn NCERT maths books from class 8th- class 12th and make yourself basic concepts in mathematics strong. Buy or download Quantitative aptitude book by Arun sharma/S. Hand for minutes time work out and be in practice then, definitely you will become stronger within few weeks. You can get admission in top colleges. All the Best for your future.

MAT and ATMA are among the easier MBA entrance examinations that are conducted in the country. It is advisable to prepare for CAT XAT IIFT SNAP as preparing for them will already make you exam ready for exams like MAT and ATMA. However you can use these books for your reference-
NCERT (Class 9 and 10)- Believe it or not, the best books are often the ones that are the simplest. Try to finish these before going for other books. Follow Wren and Martin for basic English and grammar. Sarvesh Verma (Quantum CAT for Quants) and/or Nishit K. Yes, obviously as both exams syllabus are same. Infact, MAT exams are easier than CAT. Have command on accuracy of your answers.

You can refer books of Authors such as Arun Sharma, R S Aggarwal to prepare for MAT. Keep in mind that MAT is comparatively easier than CAT and CMAT, therefore, basic logic and questions of medium level difficulty would be enough to prepare for MAT.

For all, ARUN SHARMA is the best author. I prefer him, I studied his books on my own and I achieved
CAT: 80.5 percentile
MAT: 88.71 percentile
His books give a lot of questions which are very tough cannot be imagine in the above exams.

Your academic scores are certainly good but your aggregate score of graduation may not help you qualify to be eligible to sit for many interviews but yes there are certain organisations that overlook the academic scores until and unless you possess practical knowledge enough to clear the interviews. Yes, you can study for your CAT, and other good examination. If your concepts are clear, then there is not much to do with the time. You just need to do more practice. Solve as much test series as you can. That will enhance your speed and productivity.
