I personally find MAT to be an easier exam in comparison to other MBA entrance exams. For the preparations, go through class 9th and class 10th Maths. Get clear with basics. Level of difficulty of all the sections is easy. If you get to work on your speed and managing time limit, you will get through it with flying colors.

You can but their syllabus has a little difference. But for the most part like reasoning, SSC and bank classes will help definitely.

No, absolutely not. Whatever you heard is totally wrong. MAT coaching is for MBA and between this and SSC 10th, there is totally a big difference.

Yes, of course. The book is the best book to prepare for CAT. All other entrance tests can be easily prepared for with this book itself. Also, for easier understanding, there is a book named - Face to face by Arihant Publications. Refer the two books and that will be enough.

MAT is a long paper. You will be knowing answers but will have less time to do it, so work on your speed and don't stick to one section during the exam. Try to make the strategy of doing more and more questions in every section, not just in one.
