Yes, students from non-mathematical background too can pursue BCA. There are some state universities which provides admission to non-mathematical students, colleges like IMS, IPEM, ITS provides admission to such candidates. The general eligibility criteria is that a candidate must score atleast 45% in their +2. If you want to learn programming languages which you will be studying in your BCA course then you can check out this app which is specially designed and developed for BCA students. It has programs and assignments of languages like C, C+ and Java with their outputs. You'll be studying these languages in your 3 years of BCA.

There are separate books available for different topics in JAM Mathemaatics. So, buying these books separately for each topic is not a good idea. I would suggest you to take help from study materials which covers the syllabus for all the topics in a single book. So, you don't have to carry 10-15 books with you. Graduation in any stream is the basic eligibility for MCA. The eligibility for qualifying marks in graduation differs from institute to institute. Most of the institutes require 45 to 50 % aggregate in qualifying exam for taking admission. Reserved categories get some relaxation in aggregate percentage. Apart from this there is another prerequisite for taking admission to MCA degree; one must have studied Mathematics in 10+2 as a compulsory subject. Procedure:

Mathematics is very much compulsory for DU JAT. You should have Maths, either as additional subject (6th) or optional subject (5th). It is compulsory only for BMS, BBA, FIA and BBE in DU.
