Hi, In order to take admission in MBA the eligibility criteria needs to be MET in LPU. The eligibility is 55% + LPUNEST/CAT/MAT/XAT/NMAT/CMAT+ Interview or Completed Company Secretary CS from Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) or Completed Chartered Accountancy CA from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) or Completed Cost & Management Accountancy (CMA) from Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI). Let me share with you interview competencies that are tested as part of MBA interviews in LPU. The various parameters includes Fluency, Grammatical errors, elaboaration of concept, Clarity in thought process, Confidence, General Awareness and leadership quality. In LPU when you sit for an MBA interview there are 2 panelists one from the core domain and the other from soft skills to assess you on speaking skills. Both the panelists will be rating you on the competency and a score will be generated. On the basis of the cut off score only you will considered as qualified or not.

The selection of a student at JKLU will be finalized after a series of evaluative steps.
1. Candidates will be first shortlisted after consideration of their merit on the basis of score in CAT/MAT/CMAT/XAT/ATMA, their previous academic records and preliminary interactions with the admissions team at JKLU.
2. Shortlisted candidates will go through two rounds of interviews with senior leaders at JKLU.
3. Candidates will be finally selected through an overall evaluation of merit and the quality of interactions during the personal interviews. Eligibility Criteria -
- Minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST Candidates) or equivalent CGPA in a three-year Bachelors degree (10+2+3) or equivalent in any discipline from a recognised university. - Students appearing in the final examination of a Bachelors degree can also apply. - The candidates must have appeared in CAT/MAT/ATMA/XAT/CMAT or any other national level entrance test. In case the candidate has not appeared for any of the mentioned tests, they will have to appear in the JKLU Management Entrance Test MET to qualify for the programme.

The minimum score for getting accepted at PIBM is 60 percent for entrances like CAT, MAT, XAT. MH CET etc. and minimum 50 % in graduation. In case if the student has scored less than the accepted score, he or she can appear for PIBM's internal assessment test PMAT. The selection procedure at PIBM pays attention to certain factors like previous academic records, aptitude tests, interviews, groups discussion, and work experience. It helps the institute to understand the current level of a student on these parameters, who is taking the admission.
So, if you haven't scored good marks in CAT but want to take admission then you can still go ahead with the application process and the college will check your capabilities during the selection process.

Hello Sai Dhanya Kumar. The minimum cutoff for TANCET this year is 75 percentile through the management quota but the cutoff is even higher in case of TANCET counselling. Hence, I would urge you to apply directly through the college website so that you have better chances of getting in TSM. Admission to TSM is not only based on Management Entrance Test Scores but also on some other criterion such as consistent academic background, performance in GD/PI/WAT and involvement in other co-curricular activities. There is no fees distinction for students joining based on TANCET Counselling or Management Quota. Therefore, make use of this opportunity and do apply fast. Chandigarh University has been started in the year 2012 under UGC. The university has lush green campus with excellent infrastructure, which can attract anyone. Coming to your main issue, You Should try for premier institutes through CAT Exam, Chandigarh University is not good for postgraduate programmers such as MBA or M.Tech, Faculty is not good at all and the fees is too high for this type of university, and they have industry oriented courses in collaboration with IBM, ICICI, etc. , please Do not go for it, It's a total waste of time studying in Chandigarh university, No practical sessions, Only read books, make presentations, assignments, internal exams, and attendance, which is the worst system here, you have to give get 75% attendance for internals exam also, Believe me leaving one or two teachers, faculty is not experienced at all, if you want to waste your time and parents hard earned money, then you are welcomed by CU.
