Hi, In order to take admission in MBA the eligibility criteria needs to be MET in LPU. The eligibility is 55% + LPUNEST/CAT/MAT/XAT/NMAT/CMAT+ Interview or Completed Company Secretary CS from Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) or Completed Chartered Accountancy CA from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) or Completed Cost & Management Accountancy (CMA) from Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI). Let me share with you interview competencies that are tested as part of MBA interviews in LPU. The various parameters includes Fluency, Grammatical errors, elaboration of the concept, Clarity in thought process, Confidence, General Awareness, and leadership quality. In LPU when you sit for an MBA interview there are 2 panelists one from the core domain and the other from soft skills to assess you on speaking skills. Both the panelists will be rating you on the competency and a score will be generated. On the basis of the cut-off score only you will be considered as qualified or not. Hence, whatever is the specialisation that you are wishing to opt for the faculty of the core domain will be checking you on that and keeping in mind the above competencies stated. And Yes, you will be checked about the General Awareness so you need to keep yourself up to date. You will be asked questions related to your graduation degree and what made you go for MBA as well. So, kindly prepare the justification for that. So, all the best. Stay confident and answer the questions logically keeping the above-stated factors in mind. As what questions will come your way depend upon the panelists but the factors on which you are going to be tested remain the same. Some common guidelines for appearing for Interview.
1. Ensure the web camera is working fine
2. You audio piece equipment needs to be working fine.
3. Test the audio and video before appearing for interview.
4. There should not be anyone else in the room.
5. Find a quiet place around.
6. Keep the camera at a steady position.
7. Do not sound too casual.

Hi, There are a lot top ranked MBA in distance learning. But I am not sure about placement after completion. I myself has done MBA in HR but I have not got any placement. The selection of a student at JKLU will be finalized after a series of evaluative steps.
1. Candidates will be first shortlisted after consideration of their merit on the basis of score in CAT/MAT/CMAT/XAT/ATMA, their previous academic records and preliminary interactions with the admissions team at JKLU.
2. Shortlisted candidates will go through two rounds of interviews with senior leaders at JKLU.
3. Candidates will be finally selected through an overall evaluation of merit and the quality of interactions during the personal interviews. Eligibility Criteria -
- Minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST Candidates) or equivalent CGPA in a three-year Bachelors degree (10+2+3) or equivalent in any discipline from a recognised university. - Students appearing in the final examination of a Bachelors degree can also apply. - The candidates must have appeared in CAT/MAT/ATMA/XAT/CMAT or any other national level entrance test. In case the candidate has not appeared for any of the mentioned tests, they will have to appear in the JKLU Management Entrance Test MET to qualify for the programme.

The minimum score for getting accepted at PIBM is 60 percent for entrances like CAT, MAT, XAT. MH CET etc. and minimum 50 % in graduation. In case if the student has scored less than the accepted score, he or she can appear for PIBM's internal assessment test PMAT. The selection procedure at PIBM pays attention to certain factors like previous academic records, aptitude tests, interviews, groups discussion, and work experience. It helps the institute to understand the current level of a student on these parameters, who is taking the admission.
So, if you haven't scored good marks in CAT but want to take admission then you can still go ahead with the application process and the college will check your capabilities during the selection process.
