Agribusiness alone covers 15 percent of the GDP of the Indian economy. Therefore, not only in job but also in terms of business, the sector of Agribusiness is very good. I believe you should take MBA in Agribusiness course now because you can do the job anytime. MBA will be a big degree which will help you to get a big position in a company later. If you want to do MBA in Agribusiness course then you can join DY Patil International University, Akurdi Pune or if you can also start doing job for first 1-2 years.

MBA admission is majorly based on the Entrance Exam, Group Discussion (GD), and Personal Interview (PI). Through GD/PI, the institutes assess each candidate's qualities which cannot be measured on the basis of their academic score or performance in the entrance exam (CAT, XAT, CMAT, MAT, SNAP).

Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their CAT/ NMAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ MAT/ GMAT/ GRE/ TU entrance examination scores.
Final selection will be based on CAT/ NMAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ MAT/ GMAT/ GRE/ TU entrance exam, Group Discussion and performance in Personal Interview.

Hi,
You can start preparing for entrance exams for MBA around at the end of your second year if your graduation programme is 3 year and if 4 year can start your preparation around end of 3 year.

You can go for MBA but be prepared for your gap explanation there's no issue and if you are planning for government exam it all depends on your preparation and time you will take to crack one but my personal recommendation would be go for MBA programme.

In your case MBA in marketing, operation could be wise choice. As having 5 year of experience making you eligible for executive MBA from top b schools like XLRI. You can choose to do MBA in regular/ executive/ distance mode. You can choose to do MBA from top 5 specializations ( HR, finance, operation, marketing, IT) or a highly specialised MBA programme relevant to engineering ( operation management, engineering management, project management, industrial engineering management etc. ). .

Firstly you should decide the type of MBA you want. MBA general management or sectoral MBA. For e. g if you wish to do MBA in forest management than IIFM Bhopal, if you wish to MBA in HRM than XLRI or TISS. You can choose to appear for 2-3 relevant MBA entrance exams for your dream b school. CAT CMAT are few most accepted test score. You can make list of b scholl by referring to nirf b school ranking and other business school ranking. Try yo target top 50 b schools or top 5 b schools relevant to that sectoral MBA.
