In addition to this MBA is ACBSP Accredited which relates that the curriculum is that of international standards. MBA is flagship programme of LPU which is of two years of duration and includes 6 semesters in these years. LPU offers three types of MBA I. e.
1. Normal MBA (six trimesters) with specialisations as Marketing, Finance and HR
2. Specialised MBA I. e MBA (Financial Markets), MBA (Supply Chain), MBA (International Business), MBA (HHM), MBA (Business Analytics) and MBA (Tourism and Hospitality)
3. MBA (Hons) which is a purely residential programme. If any student who has completed his/her Chartered Accountant, he has the option of doing MBA in Corporate Affairs, Corporate Audit and Tax Management or Cost Management and Financial Analysis. Apart from the above, LPU offers Credit transfer programme to the students wherein they get benefitted by studying in LPU for 1 year and another 1 year abroad which fulfils the dreams of the student as well. Hi Lydia. OPENMAT is a national level entrance exam for admissions to MBA/PGDM courses offered at School of Management Studies, IGNOU. OPENMAT exam is conducted twice a year I. e. in July and January. OPENMAT scores of one session are valid for one year I. e. If the exam is held in July then the same score can be used for January and July (the following year) and, likewise, OPENMAT exam held in January-February can be used for July and January next year. Candidates can opt for admission in any of the cycle as per the score validity. OPENMAT admission cycle is as under:
OPENMAT XLVI (July 2019) will be valid for admission either in January 2020 or July 2020
OPENMAT XLVII (January 2020) will be valid for admission either in July 2020 or January 2021

Yes you are eligible for UGC NET. The Master degree obtained through the distance mode are valid for UGC NET exam. There is no upper age limit for applying Assistant Professor. The eligibility criteria of UGC NET 2020 is given below. Eligibility criteria : General/Unreserved/General-EWS candidates who have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in Masters Degree or equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognised by UGC in Humanities and Social Science (including languages), Computer Science and Applications, Electronic Science etc. Are eligible for this Test. List of subjects at Post Graduation level is attached as Annexure-IV of UGC NET Information bulletin. The Other Backward Classes (OBC) belonging to Non-Creamy Layer/Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST)/Persons with Disability (PwD)/Transgender category candidates who have secured at least 50% marks (without rounding off) in Masters degree or equivalent examination are eligible for this Test.
