A general MBA is a better option as compared to a specialised MBA. The reason for this is that a specialised MBA reduces your options in the placements whereas the options remain open for you if you have a general MBA. As per the UGC norms, the candidates must have completed the Masters degree from the UGC approved university to be eligible for the UGC NET exam. The candidates must have fulfill the eligibility criteria like 55% aggregate marks in post graduation. There is no age limit for NET lectureship but the age must be below 30 years for NET JRF. You can check the complete details for eligibility at official website. As you have completed your master's degree form the UGC Approved university, you are eligible to apply for the exam.
