It is good to read that you have clarity in terms of what you want to do in future. Since you intend to explore permanent settlement abroad then you need to look at Canada, Australia as options as the government rules in respective countries are more flexible in terms of work opportunities post MBA & also are open to permanent immigration. You can either go there as a student or apply for permanent settlement.

Good to read that you have cleared GATE, so based on GATE (as you intend to settle soon) you can seek employment in a lot of PSU and after working for 3 years explore Executive MBA or distance MBA and this sharpen your skills and gets it benefit in your employment. A lot of private sector/MNC companies that are into Animal feeds, agro chemicals, CD /FMCG space hire people with your kind of qualification so you could also look at them and later based on your interest explore MBA in relative fields.

This would depend a lot on your personally traits & interest areas. Each MBA specialisation needs specific personality traits for doing well in the profession. For example: if you are outspoken and like traveling, meeting people, take target pressure then Marketing could be a preference & if you are a peoples person wherein you like counseling people and act as an advisory & wants a desk top job bonded by rules & regulations then HRM will be exciting so do evaluate your inherent personality traits and then take a call.

GMAT score is required for seeking admission overseas into MBA & GRE score is required in seeking admission overseas in technical courses. For MBA in India you need CAT/MAT score. There are a no of colleges overseas that may not insist on GMAT scores, but it is advisable to join an institute which has the requirement for GMAT from quality education & exposure perspective.

Generally, it may not impact your placement. However, some companies that visit campus do insist on first attempt graduation /min percentage requirement at graduation exams. You need not worry on this do well in the MBA exam and also pick up a good summer project and I am sure you will get excellent placement.
