You can ask her to go for Masters in hotel management from abroad but I would suggest her to stick to her HR post Hotel Management is much of struggle. I am telling you by my personal experience

If your aim is only to get a MBA finance degree you join IGNOU and in the mean while you can prepare for NET which you can appear which you are doing your MBA. For distance MBA go for IGNOU, SMU.

After MBA, you can go for Ph.D & M.Phil. Since you are a mechanical engineer you should go for MBA in Operations Management which according to me will suit the best.

With no doubt, IIMs are the best colleges to do MBA, for this you need to give CAT exam on which admission process is made. All the best.

You need to give an entrance exam for getting admission to top institutions private or government. Further, there are many eligibility exams, which you can give admission like CAT MAT GMAT ATMA etc. These are nationalized exams, but some of the institute have their own exams for eligibility like symbiosis, BVP etc. Further, you have to be eligible for getting admission to these top colleges.
