Hello!
Unfortunately, there is not even a decent B-school anywhere in India where one can get admission with just 66 percentile in MAT. And the ones you might get won't simply be worth enough to pursue MBA; turning out to be a total waste of both your precious time I.e. 2 years as well as money (in Lacs). I suggest you to either reappear for MAT (and/or other exams as per your wish) next year or focus on the other upcoming exams like MBA CET.
Good luck!

Hello Sanjana,
Top management colleges abroad mainly but not wholly are basing their criteria on GMAT. But there are many other criteria too like aptitude, initiative, quick response etc. Hence, scoring good in GMAT is of course required but student should be knowledgeable in other areas also.

Hello,
Your 10th and 12th scores are a bit on the lower side but still you can get institutes such as Alliance University, BIMTECH, Amity, Prestige-Indore, IMS Ghaziabad, etc. Perform will be based on the entrance exams such as CAT, XAT, CMAT, MAT, etc. Get exceptional percentile, perform well in the GD-PI and you get placed in a decent company earning well.

Hello,
Unfortunately, there is not even a decent B-School anywhere in India where one can get admission with just 50 percentile in the CAT exam and the ones you might get won't simply be worth enough to pursue MBA, turning out to be a total waste of both your precious time i.e. 2 years as well as money (in Lacs). I suggest you to either reappear for CAT (or other exams as per your wish) next year or focus on the other upcoming exams like MBA CET and MAT.
Wish you good luck.

Top 2 institutes you must target are Indian Institute of Social Welfare and Business Management and NSHM Knowledge Campus. A score of around 500-600 is good to get into these institutes. Other institutes accepting MAT scores are Bengal Institute of Business Studies, Globsyn Business School, Calcutta Business School, Institute of Engineering and Management, Unitedworld School of Business, Eminent College of Management and Technology, Eastern Institute for Integrated Learning in Management, Institute of Management Study and Amity University.

There are a lot good campuses in Kolkata for your Management studies like Amity, NMIMS, etc. These are very good for MBA admissions in Kolkata region. These campuses have good academic standards. These campuses have very affordable fee structure and the student and alumni network is also large. So, I suggest that you take up any of the above. IIM-Kolkata is the best option if you are ready to crack CAT. No other college is better than IIMs for management education.

Hello,
Unfortunately, there are no good B-Schools (those ranking under the top 50 in India) in Kolkata which accept the scores of MAT exam and the ones which are there are not really worthy enough for pursuing MBA. Hence, I suggest you to either look for a different exam like CAT IIFT XAT, etc.)., or a different city (Mumbai, Bangalore and New Delhi). Nevertheless, you can check the list of the B-Schools which accept MAT score by visiting the given link.
