Doon Business School, Dehradun is the best when it comes to Marketing and IB. I am a student of this college with Marketing and International Business as my dual specialization. The faculty members are well experienced, and the placements of marketing have really been good with more than 100 companies visiting the college this year.

Your chances seem quite decent. I would suggest you use Shiksha's Call Predictor to get a better idea of what different CAT percentiles would do for your chances to get a call. By the way, NITIE and IIM A, B and C are quite different. NITIE has a much stronger focus on operations while IIMs don't focus at all on operations (even the roles in operations are quite limited).

You should always opt for the exams, as they will allow admission in the top colleges. Through consultancies, you will not get the top colleges hence the jobs after wards too will be average.
