So you want to know difference between BSc Radiology and studying Radiology after MBBS? Many students like you have same question in mind. Worry not, I'll help you with same.

You can opt for Radiology through PG courses like MD or DNB in Radiology after which you'll be considered a full-fledged Radiologist with a 'Dr.' title. You will learn how to diagnose and analyze medical images and perform respective healthcare procedures.

If you talk about BSc Radiology on other side it is a paramedical course that will teach you how to operate imaging equipment and diagnose medical conditions. Fresh BSc Radiology graduates do not get doctorate deg

Both MS (Master of Surgery) and MD (Doctor of Medicine) are postgraduate medical degrees, but they differ in terms of focus and specialization.

MD is a postgraduate degree that focuses on medical specialities. It is usually pursued by doctors who want to specialize in clinical and non-surgical fields. On the other hand, MS is a postgraduate degree that emphasizes surgical specialities. It is pursued by doctors who are interested in becoming surgical specialists and performing surgical procedures.

Choosing the best country for an MBBS or medical course depends on factors like education quality, cost, and career opportunities. The United States is renowned for its cutting-edge medical education and research, though it's highly competitive and expensive.

The United Kingdom offers a shorter course duration with globally recognised degrees, but also comes with high costs. Canada is known for its strong healthcare system and emphasis on research, but has limited seats for international students. Australia provides excellent medical training with a focus on practical experience, while countries like Germany and China offer more afforda

Yes, it is possible to find work as an MBBS graduate without undertaking a postgraduate (PG) pathway.

MBBS graduates can work as general practitioners. Medical officers in hospitals and clinics, or within government health services are also options.

There are also opportunities available in public health, research, and healthcare administration/public service. Most commonly the work opportunities are available through a pharmaceutical agency, medical writing, and health insurance companies.

No, doing a PG degree after an MBBS is not compulsive. Still, those interested in practicing in superspeciality or looking forward to teaching fields will mandatorily require it. PG courses are oriented toward advanced training in the art, providing specialised knowledge and ending with certifications like MD or MS, depending on the kind of special course chosen for pursuit. Many medical professionals opt for PG to gain greater expertise and qualify for more specialised roles in healthcare.

AIIMS Madurai does not offer any PG courses considering the fact that the institute is relatively new as compared to other AIIMS of the country. A candidate who is interested in completing his PG can opt for other AIIMS available in India.
