The students entering MCA must have a BCA. /B.Sc. / B.Com/B.A. Degree with Mathematics as one of the subjects at 10+2 level or at 'graduation'. .

Master of Computer Applications MCA Eligibility Criteria
The candidate must have passed Graduation in BCA or equivalent from a recognised board The candidate must have acquired a minimum aggregate of 60% in the qualifying examination. The candidates who are in their final year of degree can also apply for admission.

The eligibility criteria for the MCA course at the Dr. D. Y. Patil Institute of Management is to pass a Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university with a 50 percent of aggregate score. Final-year students can also apply if they can assure to submit a degree certificate within the required time. Mathematics is one of the compulsory subjects in the 12th class or at the graduation level.

The eligibility criteria of MCA of Ramaiah Institute of Technology is given below.
Eligibility: Candidates who have passed a 3-year bachelor's degree from a recognized university with not less than 50% of the marks in aggregate of all the years of the degree examination with Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computer Science/ Computer Programming/ Computer Applications/ Business Mathematics/ Business Statistics as one of the optional subjects/ electives at degree level. In case of candidates from Karnataka belonging to SC/ST and Category-l the minimum aggregate is 45%.
Entrance Exam: KMAT or PGCET any one mandatory

Yes you can join MCA if you had not math subject in 12th. Other is depend on university most of the university have compulsory Math subject for MCA. So, you have search about university then join as per your comfort. If you really wants to do MCA then I would suggest you to join some institute for learning computer programming language and appear for additional Maths of 10+2 from any examination board or you can also do 1 year Diploma like PGDCA A-level from DOEACC etc. Then only you will be eligible to do MCA.

Dear, You can indeed get into BMS course and you will easily get a good college. A student must be securing minimum 45% for general category (in one attempt) at the respective Examination and 40% marks for the reserved category (in one attempt). No college shall conduct any entrance test in any form and the admissions are purely based on merit duly following the reservation policy as per the norms of Government of Maharashtra. You need to have a Bachelor's degree in computer application. Most MCA institutes will accept graduates from other streams like commerce, arts, Science, and computer Science as well. You need to have more than 50% of your Bachelors degree. You need to have more than 55% in your 12th standard.
