Shakti, MBA IT is a combination of software and administration where as MCA degree is purely related to software. MBA IT facilitates you to have administrative job in IT field. MCA degree helps you to get in to the role of software professional. If you want to come in Management Line then you can do MBA IT, if you want to stay in technical then choose MCA.
Even pay packages differ for the two. MBAs are paid more and most of the top posts are managerial so MBAs have an upper hand.

You can surely apply for software engineering jobs after MCA from a recognized university. If you want to do M.Tech. in computer science field then you can do it after completion of MCA. You can't apply for M.Tech. just after BCA. Almost all major software companies do recruit MCA for the post of software executives which is offered to B.Tech. graduates.
You will have to apply off campus because most companies don't recruit MCA on campus. You can apply in TCS, Wipro, Infosys etc all major companies.
The eligibility criteria for the job in these companies is general throughout 60% academics i.e. 60% in 10th,12th,Graduation and Post Grad
