BSc Computer Science graduates have basic understanding of Computer Science fundamentals and applications. MCA Program is generally a three year (six semesters) course. The program has a right mix of Core and Application subjects with more emphasis on computer application. If you do MCA after BSc some of the syllabus of MCA will be repeat for you. MSc CS Program are generally two year and it gives emphasis on theory and systems in Computer Science. If you want to make career in core CS, you are advised to do MSc CS.
