The choice between MCA and MBA depends on your interest domain. If you would like to have a purely technical career in programming then you should go for MCA. You can pursue MCA through distance learning from IGNOU or SMU. IGNOU has provision for non-mathematics students too. However if a core technical career does not interest you much, then you can go for MBA in IT. Along with you can also consider a course in Project Management. This along with MBA will help your career to grow to the level of Team Leader and Project Manager.You can pursue MBA also through distance learning from SMU or IMT ghaziabad or IGNOU. Ruchika, MCA is not the route to web design, it leads to Web Development. Usual Web Design course at Arena is 12-15 months on normal track. The course is called GWDD. Through this you'll be equipped for Graphic Design as well as PHP based opensource website integration, UI Design, etc besides Web Design and Flash Animation and Apps at the end of this period. This would ensure that you're ready for web design and development (the career you're looking at right now) as well as many more career options that the future holds for the design fraternity. So you would not miss out when the growth starts with mobile gaming and LMS. If you are interested to learn elsewhere, you may look for courses similar to this. Internationally too, you must go for Programs that have UID/ UXD as their mainstay. Alternatively you can go for a longer course which has design alongwith animation. Surensdra, I am not sure how good you are with maths and programming. If you are, then you must pick up a language whether PHP/ HTML5 (web dev), .Net (for software dev) Java/ Android (for apps) or C#/ Unity (for games). However like i mentioned, you must be good with programming to move ahead in this area since you have to compete with other MCAs and BTech(CS) applicants. So choose your internship/ industrial training very carefully. Do not just go for the cheapest to save money. See the IT company's credentials on the net. for example if someone provide LIVE PROJECTS are they there near the TOP on PORTALS like JUSTDIAL? Or if the company is registered with STPI (Software Technology Parks of India) - all good IT companies are registered with STPI. If a company spends money to market themselves to customers, only then they are able to get LIVE PROJECTS. Also, if you are an average programmer, and if you you're better with creative work, then you can head for web design or even vfx/ animation since there is a huge requirement coming up in that domain. Hi Omkar, first I will advise you to be cool and relax. You need not stressed thinking about MCA or MBA. There are many courses you can choose to do. Since you are in 3rd year now first you should focus on getting excellent result in semesters so that you can increase your chances to apply in good colleges and universities. Do you like animation ?. If you have interest in drawing, painting, doing something creative then you can do animation course. But, the most important thing after your BSc ( IT ) should be that you start working and become independent and confident. While working you will realize your potential and skills which will help you in giving clarity about your future and career. Also, if you still have confusion then start teaching in a coaching institute in a subject of your choice in your free time. It will help you in keeping momentum with the changing trends.

Candidates who are foreign nationals can join the MCA course offered by the institutions. In order to do so, they should have a valid passport and the necessary qualifications. They can join the course after they have passed the entrance examination. The admission will be done according to the norms and other provisions of the institution concerned.
Academic Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates should have a graduation degree with more than 60 per cent marks and they need to write an entrance exam in order to get admission to an MCA course.
