Yes, you can get admission in BE through lateral entry admission. When you will take admission then you will know about course. In BE. /B.Tech (Mechanical Engineering), there are lots of subject. So, you will have to study all subject including Mechatronics.

Hello Anant Baviskar,
It's ofcourse important to know where we are headed in life. But unfortunately market situation is entirely different. Almost 50% fresh graduates of engineering could not get placed. Hence I would strongly advise you to forget about salary that you may get after four years of study and concentrate on understanding of the subjects that you would be studying. This will surely get you placed and get good salary. Best wishes.

As far as I know, till date for academic year 2016-17, total about 760 plus students have been placed in different companies. Many IT, CORE companies come for placement in our college having satisfactory annual packages. For Mechatronics Branch:-
There is a 100 % placement record of this college. The average package provided by this college is 4 lacs. The highest package provided by this college is 33 lacs. Even this year several high profile packages have been offered to IT and CS branch students and also Mechatronics branch.
