Kasturba Medical College (KMC) Manipal charges INR 70,88,500 for the MBBS course for the general category students.
For the foreign/NRI quota students, the fee is US $ 1,97,000. K.S. Hegde Medical Academy (KSHEMA) does not offer MBBS course, but it offers MD and MS courses.
The fee for MD and MS courses at KSHEMA ranges from INR 6,00,000 to INR 30,00,000 per year. KMC Manipal also offers MD and MS courses, and the fee for these courses ranges from INR 14,65,000 to INR 1,01,74,000 for the general category students.

The selection process for B.Sc courses at Kasturba Medical College (KMC) is based on merit and eligibility criteria.
The candidates must have passed Karnataka 2nd PUC or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as compulsory subjects.
The minimum score required for admission is 50% marks in aggregate in PCB (40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates).
The candidates must also qualify the Manipal Entrance Test (MET) conducted by Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE). The admission is subject to the availability of seats and the reservation policy of the college.

Kasturba Medical College (KMC) accepts the following entrance exam scores for admission:
- MBBS: The admission is based on the score obtained in the NEET UG. The candidates must have scored 50% marks in 10+2 Indian boards with physics, chemistry, biology/biotechnology and English from a recognised Board.
- MD/MS: The admission is based on the score obtained in the NEET PG. Candidates holding a foreign degree must be registered practitioners in the Country from where they have obtained their degree and must obtain a temporary registration certificate from Medical Council of India (MCI).
