With a score of 239 in NEET, it is highly unlikely to secure a seat in government medical colleges, especially for the ST category. The cutoff marks for government colleges are generally much higher, and the competition is intense. Even for private colleges, the cutoff marks are higher, and admission is based on merit. The ST category has a lower cutoff mark compared to the general category, but still, a score of 239 is below the cutoff. The answer to this question will completely depend on the course selected by the candidates. If the aspirants choses to pursue MBBS or BDS programme, then NEET UG will be required for admission. For all the other courses, aspirants can get admission without NEET-UG score. If a candidate wishes to take admission in MD or MS courses, they will need to qualify NEET-PG along with fulfiling the eligibility requirements.

OUAT conducts its own entrance exam, the OUAT Common Entrance Exam (CEE), for admissions to BVSc and other undergraduate agriculture-related programs. In OUAT the admissions into various courses are done through the OUAT counselling process.
