As an entry level Staff Nurse in a government hospital or public sector corporation, you will be recruited in the scale of Rs. 9300-34800 with Grade Pay of Rs.4200/- in the Pay band 3. Your total salary as on 01/01/2016 will be minimum 38000 and ranges up to Rs. 45000 depending on the city and whether you are receiving house accommodation. BUMS (Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery) is an undergraduate degree programme in the field of Unani medicine and surgery. BUMS course covers the medical knowledge of the Unani system. To pursue and owe this degree is quite enough to become a doctor (Hakim) in the Unani medical field.

BUMS course is awarded after the completion of 5.5 years academic programme containing the 4.5 year academic session and 1 year internship programme with live practical. The undergraduate programme in Unani system can be pursued through the distance education system.

You need to get MBBS degree to get into anesthesia. MD Anesthesia (3 years) is a postgraduate degree and MBBS (5.5 years) is an undergraduate degree. Because in allopathic medical sciences, MBBS is the graduation degree and anesthesia is the post graduation degree, also called as PG or MD/MS/DNB. So to go for PG one must have UG degree which is MBBS. Its like you cannot go for M.Sc. maths without doing B.Sc.
