Option 1: B.Sc Nursing → MBA in Hospital Administration (Most Common Route)

After completing B.Sc Nursing, you can pursue:

• MBA in Hospital Administration

• MBA in Healthcare Management

• MBA in Health Services Management

Many reputed institutes offer this, such as:

• All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS – Master of Hospital Administration)

• Tata Institute of Social Sciences (Healthcare Management programs)

• Manipal Academy of Higher Education

• Symbiosis Institute of Health Sciences

This is the most recognised and career-safe path.

 Option 2: B.Sc Nursing + Distance/Online BBA (Parallel Study)

You can:

• Complete B.Sc Nursing (regular full-time)

• Simultaneously pursue BBA (distance mode) from a recognised university

 Important:

• Nursing is intensive with clinical postings.

• Many nursing colleges restrict dual regular programs.

• Always confirm university regulations.

 Option 3: Integrated BBA + MBA in Hospital Administration (Without Nursing)

Some universities offer:

• 5-year integrated BBA + MBA (Hospital/Healthcare Management)

But this does NOT include nursing qualification.

Step‑by‑Step: Counselling & Seat Allocation

Qualify the Entrance Exam — NIPER JEE

• You must first appear in and qualify the NIPER Joint Entrance Examination (NIPER JEE), which is the national entrance test for postgraduate pharmacy programmes (including MS Pharma) across all NIPER institutes.

• Your performance in this exam determines your merit rank on the counselling list.

Merit List Publication

• After results are declared, NIPER releases a merit list based on scores obtained in NIPER JEE. Only candidates on this list are eligible for counselling.

Counselling Registration

• Qualified candidates must register for NIPER JEE counselling on the official portal when registration opens.

• You will need to pay a counselling registration fee and complete basic formalities.

Choice Filling

• During counselling, you'll be asked to select your preferred programmes and institutes (e.g., “MS Pharma in Medicinal Chemistry at NIPER Ahmedabad”).

• It's important to arrange choices in order of preference because seat allotment depends on this order and your rank.

Seat Allotment

Seats are allotted based on:

• Your NIPER JEE rank

• Your category (General/OBC/SC/ST/EWS)

• Availability in the chosen programme & institute
   Higher rank candidates get first preference. Lower ranks are considered for remaining vacant seats.

 When seats are allotted, you'll be informed during counselling sessions (often held physically by NIPER or as notified).

Document Verification & Fee Payment

• After seat allotment, you must present original documents for verification:

  • NIPER JEE scorecard

  • GPAT/GATE/NET scorecard (if applicable)

  • Graduation certificates

  • Category/domicile certificates

  • ID proof, etc.

• Then you must pay the admission/tuition fee to confirm your seat. Failure to pay within the stipulated deadline typically results in the seat being forfeited.

Multiple Rounds & Vacancies

• Typically, counselling and seat allotment may happen in multiple rounds:

  • First round chooses from top merit candidates.

  • If seats remain vacant, subsequent rounds of counselling fill them.

  • Sometimes, supernumerary seats (for Government‑sponsored, Foreign Nationals, OCI/PIO, PwBD, etc.) are also filled in additional stages.

Merit‑based selection:

• The college accepts candidates based on merit in the qualifying exam (e.g., 10+2 marks for UG courses like BPT and graduation marks for PG courses like MPT).

Internal or institute entrance where applicable:

• While the college itself is mainly merit‑driven, some courses may involve an internal entrance or selection procedure conducted by the university (especially for postgraduate or specialised programmes).

Online application:

• Admissions are done through the college's official online application portal, and there is no mandatory national entrance exam like NEET required for physiotherapy/occupational therapy admissions at this campus as of current guidance.
