West Bengal NEET cutoff is released by the Director-General of Health Services (DGHS) for admission into undergraduate medical courses such as MBBS and BDS programmes.
There are 85 per cent seats reserved for the West Bengal resident candidates. A total of around 2791 MBBS and 509 BDS seats are offered by various medical and dental colleges in West Bengal.

No, NEET is compulsory for admission to most Dental colleges in India including BDS. NEET ensures a fair and consistent selection procedure for dental colleges across the country. The DCI requires NEET scores for BDS admissions to all recognised dental colleges, both government and private.
