The college is affiliated with the BPUT, and Odisha University of Health Science, Government of Odisha. Admission to MBBS at KGMU is done via NEET UG scores. To apply for MBBS course at KGMU, aspirants must go through the application process of NEET UG.  The applicants must register, fill out the application form, upload all the scanned images for required documents and make payment of the application fee.  The NTA increased the NEET 2023 application fee by INR 100 for all categories and INR 1,000 for selecting exam cities outside India. The category-wise NEET UG registration fee is tabulated below:
