The eligibility criteria for admission to the MGM Institute of Health Sciences apart is a candidate must have cleared class 12th, with at least 50% for general category students, 45% for candidates from Backward class categories, and Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra State, with a lowered criterion of at least 40%. The class 12th should be done from a recognized board, in the relevant field. 

The candidate should be at least 17 by applying for any UG course in the institute.

MGM Aurangabad has a much bigger and well-developed campus. The classrooms and conference hall are well-equipped and spacious. The environment is comfortable and suitable for focused studying. MGM Institute of Health Sciences has a well-disciplined hostel with a lot of facilities, hygiene, mess, and food. The college holds a strong placement record. According to NIRF, in the 2023 placement drive, 321 UG and 220 PG students were placed.

UG students' salary package was in the range of INR 5- 13.2 LPA, for PG it was INR 12- 24 LPA. Overall, it is one of the best medical colleges in Aurangabad.

Candidates must have the minimum cutoff of 65% to be eligible for securing a seat at MGM Institute of Health Sciences. So, yes students with minimum cut-off can also get a seat at MGM Institute of Health Sciences.

MGMIHS is given to those students who have passed the 10+2 examination with relevant compulsory subjects with a minimum of 50% marks in PCB from a recognized Board. So, Yes achieving 70% will help to get the college. However, for some courses, there are enterance exams that are needed to be qualified.

After graduation, students can apply for jobs in college itself. Otherwise, the college has no role in placements. Every year the graduation batch gets a job for at least Rs.80000 a month. The college provides a one-year internship for each and every student but without a stipend.

MGMUHS Medical ranking by India Today is 51 out of 53 colleges in India in 2022 and it was 55 out of 55 colleges in India in 2021. And The MGMUHS Overall ranking by NIRF is 151 out of 200 colleges in India in 2022 and it was 151 out of 200 colleges in India in 2021.

The MGM Institute of Health Sciences provides many facilities such as. The college is well-equipped with dedicated air conditioned classrooms for each year. Anatomy dissection hall is provided for with enough specimens around 1 per 10 students which is an excellent ratio. The labs are basic, but have all the amenities needed for ground-level experiments. If interested the students can undertake independent projects under proper guidance and use the higher level labs for research. There is no Wi-Fi on campus for common usage.
