Candidates seeking admission to the BSc Nursing programme must have passed the Class 12 examination in Science stream with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and, English Core/ English Elective individually with at least 45% aggregate taken together in PCB subjects in the qualifying examination or must have passed the Class 12 exams in Science stream conducted by the NIOS with 45% aggregate.
There is a relaxation of 5% in the total aggregate for candidates who belong to the SC/ ST category. The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years as on Dec 31.
Candidates seeking admission to BSc allied health sciences programme must meet the MGMIHS BSc eligibility criteria. Candidates who have passed the Class 12 examination in Science stream with Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects or have passed the equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% aggregate in the qualifying examination can get admission to the MGMIHS BSc course.
The institute also offers admission through the Lateral Entry mode for which candidates must have an undergraduate degree Allied Health Sciences wherever corresponding Diploma courses are available in the concerned specialty.
MGMIHS BSc course admissions are both merit and entrance-based for the academic year 2024. Candidates seeking admission to the BSc Nursing course must appear for the Common Entrance Test conducted by the MGM Institute of Health Sciences. However, admission to all the other BSc specialisations is entirely based on marks obtained by candidates in the qualifying examinations.
