According to the placement data released by the NIRF for the year 2023, 321 undergraduate programme students were placed during MGMIHS placements for the year 2022.

In the absence of BSc-specific placements, generic placement data has been taken.

According to the NIRF report 2023,  MGMIHS BSc median package offered to placed graduates from the undergraduate programme batch ranged between INR 5 LPA and INR 13.2 LPA.

The total cost of MBBS at MGM Institute of Health Sciences is approximately INR 1.5 Lakhs - 2 crores. The first-year MBBS fee at MGM Institute of Health Sciences is INR 21 lakhs. This fee is for Indian students only. For NRI, the fee is INR 45,00,00, annually. 

Some extra components might be added to the fee, as the hostel fee is not included in this, the hostel costs INR 7500 per month. Apart from that there is some amount of fee for mandatory internships. The admission fee of up to INR 1,00,000 may be added extra, which is a one-time payment.

You need to check your category-wise cut-off to get admission to an MBBS at MGM Institute of Health Sciences.

General: 684–143

OBC: 678–117

SC: 590–118

ST: 595–118 

Other than that, there are some eligibility criteria for admission to the college. 

  • Admission is given to those students who have passed the 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as compulsory subjects, with a minimum of 50% marks in each subject (Physics, Chemistry, Biology). 
  • Candidate should be 17 years of age while applying for admission.

The MGM Institute of Health Sciences offers only 3 UG courses. The courses are MBBS, GNM, and B.Sc. The tuition fee range for UG courses is as follows:

  • B. Sc Courses: INR 2.87 Lakhs - 4.87 L 
  • MBBS: INR 90 Lakhs - 2.02 Cr

There may be other charges than tuition fees, i.e., hostel fees and one-time payment. However, it may seem to be a little expensive, but this is a normal range of Medical Colleges in India.
