Yes, Diploma holders are eligible for MHT CET to get admission into the first year or lateral entry of engineering courses. MHT CET Eligibility Criteria for Bachelor of Technology course: Candidates must have passed the HSC (10+2) or equivalent exam with Physics and Math as compulsory subjects with any one of the subjects Chemistry Biotechnology, Biology Technical, Computer Science, IT, Agriculture, Engineering Graphics, Business Studies, Technical Vocational subject or Passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology. Students must have secured a min of 45 percent marks for the General Category and the min mark for the Schedule Tribe, Schedule Caste, and Persons with Disabilitystudents belonging to Maharashtra State only 40 percent marks. Or Students must have passed the Diploma in Engineering and Technology with at least 45 percent aggregate marks for the General category and at least 40 percent aggregate marks for Schedule Tribe, Schedule Caste, and Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only. Yes, NRI students can apply for non-CAP seats in Maharashtra Common Entrance Test 2023 without having to appear for Maharashtra Common Entrance Test. Eligibility Criteria for Foreign National, Foreign students, PIO, Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries, and Children of NRI:
The students must have passed the 10+2 exam of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, or an equivalent examination, with English Physics Chemistry and Math as subjects.
