As we all know that JEE marks keep varying every year according to cut-off and availability of seats. But, if you score in the range of 120-140 (General marks) you will be on safer side. Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) is another way which can get you admitted in College of Engineering, Pune. Branch can be a matter of concern if you did not score well. And, if you have good marks you can choose your branch according to you rather they will allot you the same.

There are few colleges that offer admissions in Aeronautical Engineering branch based in MHCET in Maharashtra. As per the reports, one needs to clear MHCET to get admission in this course. So, do not worry about marks but do well in this entrance exam for getting admission in your desired branch. Best wishes.

Negative marking is also there. So, overall, JEE Mains is quite tough than CET, but the ratio of toughness depends on your preparation. MHTCET is focused on testing the breadth of your knowledge and JEE Mains is focused on testing your depth of knowledge; so don't compare their difficulty levels.
