The placements and especially the B.Tech. placements at MLR Institute of Technology are usually regarded to be good, the placement has improved year by year. Students said that in the recent placement drives 80-85% of students got placed in some of the best firms. It may be quite difficult to gain admission into MLR Institute of Technology mainly because the institution is accredited to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, and has been autonomous since the year 2015. The other minimum cut off requirement is 50 % for the 10+2 examination and the major entry test is TS EAMCET. For instance, the closing ranks for the general category in the B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering course were approximately 20,256 in the year, 2023. Hence though not one of the toughest to crack, a good rank in TS EAMCET is very important.

MLRIT admissions 2024 are based on TSICET scores, followed by counselling round. Candidates seeking admission to the MBA/MCA courses with a 60 percentile in TSICET can easily get admission at MLRIT. Based on the TSI CET exam results, the MLRIT cutoff 2024 will be determined. Candidates must score 50 out of 200 to be eligible for the TS ICET, which has a 25% qualifying mark for OBC and General categories. However, no minimum marks are defined for SC/ST candidates.
