To pursue B.E/B.Tech UG courses at MLR Institute of Technology, an aspirant must score well in entrance tests such as the TS EAMCET or JEE Main and should have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics during his/her 10+2 course. To apply for M.Tech or MBA PG programs, a bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline would be needed along with valid scores in qualifying examinations like GATE for M.Tech admission while TS ICET for MBA. The total admissions will be based on the ranks and the counselling procedures followed. Requirements may differ by the programme and category

Considering the very fact that MLR Institute of Technology (MLRIT) is much more cost-effective in terms of pursuing other engineering institutions, it is worth looking into the possibility of pursuing an M.Tech at th. All the M.Tech specializations include Computer Science, Embedded Systems, and Software Engineering, and are charged an annual tuition of about INR 1.20 lakh. This is quite low-priced as per the standards of technology education.

In case you want some more help, you might want to look for scholarships or financial aid from the institution itself.

It has an average placement rate where the college is promising mainly for branches like CSE, IT, and ECE. Many software industries like TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, and Accenture prefer their candidates from this college. The median salary offered to the students is between INR 4 to 6 LPA and the maximum median wage being offered is INR 12-15 LPA. Achievement of placement rates is lower in core branches than in software-related fields. Broadly for IT, but for core engineering requirements may be a little tough to get good placements for the students.

MLR Institute of Technology is approved as a standard engineering college at Hyderabad but is not aimed as the best. It has good academic course prospects and fair business prospects, particularly in engineering fields. However, other institutions, including IIT Hyderabad and the NIT Warangal are generally more popular on the System and are normally ranked above it as some of the leading institutions in the region.

Although there have been certain improvements in the infrastructure and student facilities in recent times MLR Institute of Technology is yet to be a tier-2 college.
