Yes, MPBSE is conducting the MP Board class 10 and 12 exams twice a year starting from 2026. The main objective to hold the board exams twice a year is to allow the students to retain the best score in the exam. The board also informed that appearing for both exams is not mandatory and is completely up to students' choice.

MPBSE class 10 exams are held for a total of five subjects. Each paper of the class 10 exam consists of a total of 100 marks. For subjects without practicals, the minimum mark required to pass the exam is 33, while for subjects with practicals, the minimum passing marks differ from subject to subject. Theory exams for the subjects with practical are held for 80 marks while the practical exams are held for a total of 20 marks. The students must note that the marks secured in MPBSE 10th practical exams will also be calculated while preparing for the final MP Board class 10 result.

MP Board prescribes the total duration of MP Board class 10 board exams through both exam pattern and time table. Usually, the MPBSE class 10 exam pattern is released before the class 10 time table. For a detailed exam pattern, the students are suggested to check the MPBSE class 10 sample paper released by the board. As per last year's exam pattern, the total duration of each theoretical paper is three hours. On the other hand, the total duration of MP Board class 10 practical exams is two hours.
The students need to complete the exam within the stipulated time. No extra time will be given to complete the exam.

Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education will soon come up with the MPBSE class 10 exam pattern. However, the chances of any major changes in the MP Board exam pattern are very low as the board usually does not make changes in the exam pattern every year. On this page, we have provided last year's exam pattern. As per last year's exam pattern, each paper of the MPBSE 10th exams will be held for a total of 100 marks. The theory paper exam will be held for 80 marks while 20 marks will be distributed for practical. In the class 10 exams, objective-type, short-answer-type, and long-answer-type questions are asked.

The board first releases the MP Board 10th syllabus and then the time table is announced. The board is yet to announce the MPBSE class 10 time table and syllabus. It is expected to be announced soon. Students can download the MPBSE 10th syllabus 2024-25 pdf through the link available on the official website. Students will find separate links to download the MPBSE class 10 syllabus. Students appearing for the MPBSE class 10 exams 2026 must note that they need to bring their admit card to the exam center. Students will not be allowed to sit for the examination if they fail to bring the MPBSE 10th Admit Card 2026 to the hall. Candidates should also read all the important instructions related to the exam printed on their admit card. In such a case, you need to apply for error correction in your MPBSE 10th admit card 2025 before the last date to receive the admit card. The MP Board will also announce the last date for applying for MPBSE admit card error correction on its official website. The notice will ask the students for amending any mistake found in their admit card before the last date. To get your MP Board class 10 admit card 2025 corrected, you need to report the error on your admit card to your school head. Your school will then take further action to make your admit card error-free.
