So far, for the MPBSE 10th exams 2026, the board has not made any change in the exam pattern. However, the board may update the exam pattern if there will be a requirement. Last year, the board revised the MP Board class 10th exam pattern. The number of short-answer-type questions (2 marks) is now increased, while the number of long-answer questions (4 marks) has been decreased.

Students can download the MPBSE 10th exam syllabus from the official website of the board at mpbse.nic.in. The MP Board 10th syllabus is made available online as a PDF for each paper. All the schools also provide students the official class 10 syllabus 2026 MPBSE from their respective schools. It's a good idea to check the syllabus at the start of the session. To pass the Madhya Pradesh class 10 board exams, students must score a minimum of 33% marks in each paper of the exam. The students should also score a minimum of 33% aggregate marks to pass the exam. If a student fails in one or two subjects, they will be marked as fail. However, every year, the board conduct the MPBSE 10th compartmental exams to allow students to pass the exam in the same year. Students who are short in any subject with just 1 or 2 marks will be given grace marks and will pass the exam.

Students appearing for the MP Board Class 10 exams must report to their respective exam centers at the designated time. MP Board Class 10 exams are held in single shift (9 AM to 12 PM), students should arrive by 8:30 AM.
In general, students are required to reach the exam center at least 30 minutes before the scheduled start time to ensure a smooth entry and avoid last-minute hassles.
