The seats intake for MPT specialisations- Neurology, Cardiovascular & Pulmonary, and orthopedics is 36. The aforementioned seat intake information has been taken from the official website/sanctioning body. It is still subject to change and, hence, is indicative.

No, it's not mandatory to complete BPT from MNR University to acquire admission to the MPT course. The university also gives preference to students who have qualified their BPT degree from other recognised institutions/universities. Furthermore, not only those candidates who belong to BPT can get admission to MPT courses; candidates who have completed their BSc in Physiotherapy with a minimum aggregate of 55% can also take admission in the MPT course at MNR University.

For admission to the MPT (Orthopaedics) program at Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences (SVIMS) Tirupati, you'll need to pass a university-conducted entrance test at a BPT (Bachelor of Physiotherapy) standard. Candidates should have passed a BPT degree from a recognized institute and completed their internship. The test is at the BPT standard.
