The University has released the overall placement data for PG (2-year) courses. As per the NIRF report 2023, 106 PG (2-year) students were placed in 2022 drive, out of 788 graduates. The median package offered was INR 5 LPA. From 2020 to 2022, an improving trend was observed in the PG (2-year) median package. Refer to the below table for Nagaland University placement trends for PG (2-year) courses:

The University has disclosed the median package for UG and PG courses. Looking at the past three years' data (2020 to 2022), an improving trend was recorded in the median package of PG (2-year) courses, whereas, the median package for UG (4-year) courses has dropped from 2020 to 2022. The  Nagaland University the highest package has not been disclosed officially. However, the course-wise median package is available in the NIRF report 2023. During 2022 placements, the highest median package was INR 5 LPA and was offered to PG (2-year) students. The table below depicts the median package offered during 2022 placements:

Eligibility Criteria
It is the policy of the Nagaland University to offer equal educational opportunities to all qualified persons, provided the following conditions are fulfilled by the applicant.
Eligible students for Major streams (internally or externally) will be given preference over General stream.
An applicant must have passed a three-year Degree Course with Honours/Major with 50% marks and for General stream students of Arts, Commerce and science with 55% in the concerned subject in which admission is sought.
5% marks relaxation for SC/ST category will be considered.
